Oh dear! John is one of the most frequent of the Frewen male names in both Ireland and England! Killarney I know very well, it is about 20 miles from our summer home and I never either there or in all my other searches/records have come across a Kerry Frewen connection. Could it be possible that John Frewin was Irish, and went to London to "follow" his trade? ...and went to Killarney on a holiday (It was a popular holiday resort even in the mid 1800s, as Queen Victoria once visited ....) Amelia is not frequent in the Frewens, though I have one Emelia Frewen, nee Cunningham, born 1813, married a Thomas Frewen. However, none of the 11 children that I know of was christened Amelia....
