Two very interesting articles on the origins of Frewin Hall, an annexe of Brasenose College at Oxford University, have just been made available to the Frewin website.

Brasenose College have very kindly agreed to let us republish two articles from The Brazen Nose (the college magazine), that give considerable insight into how Frewin Hall came to be so named, and of it's fascinating history.

The first article, written in 1998 by Elizabeth Boardman, Archivist at Brasenose College, is published for the first time on the internet here.

The second article, written by R.W.Jeffrey, will follow shortly, and I will post the link separately.
