There are several lines of Frewen in Australia that are separate to Hugh. Most (if not all) of Hugh's line are known, so the many others need to be traced. Several ones I have come across are from Ireland.
There was a Limerick Frewen transported c1850 and although he was in Tasmania it is believed that he moved to the mainland. Dianne - at didee49~at~hotmail.com - has a lot of info on Australian Frewens -even though we agree to disagree on a Wicklow Frewen! ;-)
A Thomas F = Sarah Drimon. Their son William b1824 in Castleconnell married an Elizabeth Cosgrove in 1850 in Australia and there are at least 3 generations after them. There was a Jack Frewen living in the 1930s who was from Ireland and several of my own branch are/were there.

The Frewen-Lord family in Australia is related to Hugh Frewen but it is quite distant and in the female line.
Good luck in the search,
Bob
