: Does anyone have links to the family of John and Amelia (also known as Keziah) Frewing, Croydon,Surrey 1881. I believe my g.g.grandmother was their daughter Elizabeth Ann Frewin b.1876 Bradford.
There are siblings in the 1881 census - Eliza, John (could he be 'Uncle Jack' who was unmarried and lived in a mens hostel?), Sarah and Edward. Another child, I learn from your super name search here, was Keziah. Other than that all I know from my family is that Elizabeth Ann had a sister called 'Kit' who lived in Kent.
Elizabeth Ann married Arthur Mitchell. She died 1 Jan 1940. Children were Alice Florence b. 1900, Win, Nell d. age 22, Amy, William and Leonard. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?
Yes we can you fit you into our family tree. Have you looked on the Frewing web site. Glad you have found us. We are having our next family reunion in Toronto September 7th.
Not many Frewing's left in the UK but many in America and Canada. Look forward to hearing from you.
