: I realy need help i have been told that my ggg Grandma was a Frewin and married my ggg grandad in 1835 Henly On Thames, well i cant prove it, and would like to so as to carry on with my research, I know that my Grandfather leonard was born in Ewelme and His Father James was born in Henly on thames about 1839 i know he had at least 1 sister named elizabeth, unfortunatley i cannot connect him with your Mary hoping him to be a daughter of Mary Heath Nee Frewin.
The only Heath-Frewin marriage for that period that we have is the one that you mention: James WIlliam Heath's marriage to Mary Ann Frewin on December 13, 1835 in St Mary, Henley. This information is from the parish records for St Mary church.
Sadly I don't have any further information for either James William Heath or Mary Ann Frewin, although I note though that a witness at the marriage was a Caroline Heath, which might be a sister (or less likely, the mother) of James William Heath.
As this marriage is prior to civil registration in 1837, the best way for you to continue with your research is to order the parish records for the areas you mention from the Oxfordshire Family History Society.
The Oxon FHS parish record transcriptions used to be on microfiche only, but I believe that some of them are now available on CD rom.
The Oxon FHS are here: http://www.ofhs.org.uk/
The parish records may record the birth of children from the marriage, and possible the family tree for James William Heath if he was from the Henley area.
I hope this helps. If you manage to find any further information on this couple please do let me know.
